Here are the Hartford Wire Works, we’re particularly proud to have been selected for the iconic job of providing woven wire mesh railing infill panels at Fenway Park.  Our panels are throughout the stadium, but if you’ve never noticed them — that’s the point!

Railing infill panels like these ones provide a decorative and functional barrier, especially in high-traffic areas like a major league baseball stadium.  These panels were welded to the railings and then powder coated (fenway green, of course!), to provide extra durability and rust protection.  They prevent kids from playing on the railings, prevent customers from sneaking under the railings, but still don’t get in the way of air flow or sightlines.

You’ll notice in some of these pictures just why customers come back to The Hartford Wire Works for quality, custom work.  Follow one individual horizontal wire from one panel to the next.  The wires are level, and line up from one panel to the other.  It’s the kind of attention to detail that we’re known for — the work is done right, the first time, so that it will last for years.

IMG_7020Even if you aren’t building a stadium, wire mesh infill panels can be used on decks, patios, ramps, and railings to contain access.  So, if you have your own “green monsters” to keep in, give us a call!
